This project involved applying a specialized basement waterproofing coating to a residential foundation. Our team first prepared the concrete floor and lower walls. We cleaned the surfaces, scarified the material, and repaired cracks to ensure a strong bond. Next, we applied multiple layers of a black, elastomeric membrane. This process creates a seamless barrier against moisture. We also extended the coating up the base of the foundation walls. This technique effectively “tanks” the space to manage water pressure. The final application seals the concrete and provides a uniform, professional look. Ultimately, this system keeps the basement dry and protected. It successfully prevents mold and long-term structural damage.
